Tecnológico de Monterrey 65th anniversary

The Tecnológico de Monterrey celebrated the 65th anniversary of its founding September 6. The event marks a timely moment to reflect on the Institution's origins, its history, and setting new challenges at the service of Mexico's development.

In 1943, few would have imagined what the Tecnológico de Monterrey would amount to at the turn of the 21st century. Among those that did were Mr. Eugenio Garza Sada and a group of Mexican entrepreneurs that supported his vision of creating a forward-looking educational institution which would produce the country's best talent and would withstand the test of time.

Has it ever. Today, its mission of forging upstanding individuals with ethical standards and a humanistic outlook, who are internationally competitive in their professional fields and at the same time citizens committed to the economic, political, social, and cultural development of their communities and to the sustainable use of natural resources, is reflected day after day in its more than 90,000 students and its close to 200,000 alumni.
